Weatherbie had success throughout his career and was an established coach, but the administration wanted better results.

The school went 6-6 the past two seasons, which is why the Weatherbie firing came as such a surprise.

They decided to hire Todd Berry, an interesting choice since he has a dismal career record of 5-36.

The administration better hope the hire doesn’t backfire, because fans will be ruthless about the decision-making process.
